From March 10 to March 16, 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation announces a Week to combat the infection and spread of chronic viral hepatitis C.

The medical staff of the Krasivo sanatorium join a significant information campaign and conduct lectures, seminars and talks on the topic of prevention for vacationers and staff. Hepatitis C is an inflammation of the liver caused by a virus that can lead to serious health consequences. 

To minimize the risk of infection and protect others, it is recommended:

1. Avoid tattoos and piercings in non-certified areas; contact only professionals using sterile instruments.

2. Use only sterile or disposable hygiene items: razors, manicure supplies, toothbrushes and towels.

3. Use barrier protection to prevent infections.

4. Get tested for hepatitis C virus before planning pregnancy.
